The Kenyon Mortuary Cabinet is Designed and manufactured specifically for mortuary applications. Our Cabinets utilise “Thermal Barrier” profiles that are a patented technology. No Panels are cut or rebated in the manufacture of the Kenyon Cold Room Panel. Cutting away insulation to create rebates reduces the Cold Rooms Thermal Dynamics. This is known as “Cut and Carve”. The longer a Refrigeration system rests after reaching pull down and set temperature the more Electric consumption it saves. Short Cycling due to rapid internal temperature rise also reduces the overall life expectancy of the Refrigeration Plant. Using a Thermal Imaging Camera after every installation Kenyon Engineers show the client the Thermal efficiency of the Kenyon Cold Room as soon as its installed.

  • High thermal efficiency with in built Kenyon Thermal Barrier Profiles for low operating costs.

  • High density polyurethane and PIR insulation in Panel Thicknesses up to 200mm for Cryo- Genic applications. All Kenyon Panels are CFC free.

  • Panels coated with anti- bacterial finish, eliminates any possible risk of harmful bacteria growth on surface of panels (inside & out) ideal for mortuary environments.

  • Fully interlocked panels with Push and Pull Camlocks. Every Panel locks in to a Thermal Barrier to create a super- efficient Thermally Dynamic seal.

  • Total panel mechanically locked for perfect seals.

  • Hygienic panel design avoids need for silicone grouting. Our Panels do not need Silicone or Plastic Coving trims.

  • Finished in white powder coated steel RAL 9010.

  • Panel cut edges are formed and sealed to avoid oxidisation

  • All panels (including floor and Ceiling) use corrosion resistant Push and Pull camlocks.

  • Cabinet can be dissembled for future relocation if required due to its Modular design and manufacture.

  • Stainless steel or Galvanised floor covering over reinforced load bearing floor.

  • Easy operate door handles with lock and internal safety release.

  • Self- closing adjustable door hinges giving up to 180° opening.

  • Gaskets can be rebated at time of order to avoid damage by Body Trays. Although we have never experienced damage in any way.

  • Wipe clean Kenyon nameplates with Biological Hazard warning Labels.

Versatile Mortuary Refrigeration Body Storage

  • Doors hinged Left or Right to suit the clients’ requirements.

  • Range of Stainless Steel 316 tray styles, being Pressed or Fabricated in 600mm, 660mm, 750mm sizes, with or without Drain Holes are available. Although all our Cabinets come with 750mm Obese Trays at no extra charge.

  • Stainless steel 316 racking, fully height adjustable (millimetre precision).

  • Open modular Racking system for efficient cooling and “Return Air distribution” including easy access for cleaning.

  • Up to 5 tier storage with a choice of rollers (mix and match is available). Although the option of 5 would only be viable with Stub Rollers and not Full Rollers.

  • Full width rollers with full height adjustability and these provide useful coffin storage.

  • Optional Kenyon Stub rollers offer compact storage with walk in access.

  • Cooling plant options: Straddle, Ceiling mount or Remote installed by Kenyon Engineers not Sub Contractors.

  • Refrigerants R134a. R290,R452a and R449a are utilised for the best overall performance and Enthalpy.

Mortuary Refrigeration with service at the core

  • Kenyon offer a bespoke Cooling System where a temperature of 5C can be achieved without the need for insulating the Room. Please contact us for more information.

  • Kenyon offer a 365 Day 24-hour coverage with in house Engineers from 3 strategically placed offices that cover the UK.

  • Response times of 4 to 5 hours where a Kenyon Contract is taken out

  • 15 Refrigerated Units are available free of charge to our clients where the Refrigeration system can not be repaired in a timely manner.
